Jadi sebenarnya, mekanisme penganggaran sudah memberikan jalan yang sangat jelas bagi setiap kepala daerah untuk menangani masalah keadaan darurat yang terjadi akibat suatu bencana. Bila toh ternyata terdapat kebutuhan yang tidak dapat ditutup oleh Kas Daerah, Pemerintah Daerah dapat segera mengajukan pembiayaan oleh Pemerintah Pusat dengan meminta alokasi Dana o n call.

District 6290 Group Study Exchange to Brazil 2009. Friday, May 1, 2009. Soon the end will come. As I prepare to return home, I can not help but think of the many tasks that wait for me. There is the kitchen at Bela Amor that needs replacing and I must find a club to help. There is also the mammogram machine that must be purchased for the community of Bezarro. And, we should definately try to find a way to help ease the sadness of the orphans in Caruaru. Friday, April 17, 2009. Tuesday, April 14, 2009.

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this incredible trip possible. We look forward to hosting the GSE Team from District 3010 when they arrive for a month starting in mid April. Following this late night we got up early to head off to Jaipur, a vacation destination about 250 kilomete.

Saturday, April 21, 2007. I want to thank the Rotary clubs in both district 3330 and 6380 for giving us this amazing experience. We have seen Thailand in a way no tourist can begin to imagine. As we return to Canada and the USA, things here will never be quite the same for us. When we think of Thailand now, we have the memories of the smiling faces, panoramic scenery, spicy food and the gentle people that we have come to know. We will remember this experience forever.
